Edit Regional Settings

You can edit the temperature scale and time zone of a device if they were misconfigured when the device was initially set up.

This feature is currently only available on the Checkit Android App

iOS devices inherit the time zone of the location they are assigned to. If you want to edit the time zone settings of an iOS device, please see View & Manage Devices on Your Account.

You must be an Administrator to edit the time zone of a device. Any user can edit the temperature scale on a device.

You must be logged out of the app to edit regional settings on the device.

  1. Tap the 3 vertical dots at the bottom right of the app login page.

  2. Tap Settings.

  3. Tap Regional Settings.

  4. (Android devices only) To edit the device time zone:

    1. Tap the pencil icon in the Time and Date Settings field.

    2. Enter the administrative pin. (Click here for instructions on how to find your administrative pin).

    3. Edit settings accordingly.

  5. To edit the device temperature scale:

    1. Tap the pencil icon in the Temperature Units field.

    2. Select a temperature scale from the options:

      • Celsius

      • Fahrenheit

      • Kelvin
