Follow the steps below if you receive a service alert indicating that a Repeater is offline.
Locate the Repeater on site.
Ensure that the Repeater has not been moved from its original position.
Ensure that the antenna is attached to the Repeater and is pointing upwards.
Ensure that the power cable has not been damaged and is securely attached to the bottom of the Repeater and the wall outlet.
Ensure that items are not blocking the signal between the Repeater and Hub.
Place the Magnetic Tag on the bottom-left corner of the Repeater and hold it there for about 3 seconds. During this time, the Mode LED (right) should flash green, then amber. Remove the Magnetic Tag after this sequence completes.
The Magnetic Tag is a small white magnet (see image 2).
Caution: The Magnetic Tag may interfere with pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs). Keep the tag at a safe distance from such devices
If the Mode LED does not illuminate when you press the Magnetic Tag, the device may have been:
Disconnected from the mains power supply and then powered off (in which case you will have previously received a low battery alert)
Damaged
Ensure that the power outlet is functioning properly. If there is no issue with the power supply, contact us for assistance.
After removing the Magnetic Tag, check the Health LED (left):
