Service Outage (UK National Health Service Customers Only) – 26 August (1 Hour) – Essential HSCN Network Upgrade

The service outage on the 26th of August 2025 only affects customers on the UK National Health Service HSCN network.

Overview

Due to an overhaul of the HSCN network by British Telecommunications (BT), Checkit will be upgrading its network infrastructure at our Gosport datacenter on Tuesday, the 26th of August 2025.

This upgrade is necessary to accommodate changes introduced by BT and will involve migrating our HSCN Firewalls to a new firewall, delivering improved performance and enhanced security.

Downtime

Between 11:00 and 14:00 BST on Tuesday, 26th of August, there will be an outage of no more than 60 minutes.

Services Affected

During the outage:

  • Sensor readings will not be sent to the CAM+ Website, they will be stored locally on the WARP

  • Alarms & alerts will not be sent via call, email, or SMS

We recommend you view sensor readings and alarms on the WARP display panel.

After the outage:

  • Sensor readings will be sent automatically from the WARP to the CAM+ Website

  • If any alarms occurred during the outage, contacts will receive a notification

Backout Plan

Should any issues arise, we will revert back to the previous firewalls.
