Archive a Sensor
You can archive a sensor if you want to remove the sensor from the Hub and retain its historical data.
You must be an Administrator to archive a sensor. See User Roles for more details.
This action is irreversible.
Archived sensors should be returned to Checkit. Please contact us.
If you archive a sensor, it will still appear on the Control Centre under the Automated Monitoring Status
The magnet tag could interfere with heart pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
If you do not want to use a magnetic tag or you do not have one to hand, you can skip steps 8 and 9 and manually confirm the device instead.
To do so, click Manually confirm device, then enter the last 4 digits of the serial number on the back of the sensor.
The serial number is located on the back of the sensor in the following format: S/N: 0000-0000-0000-0000.
You will see a message stating that the word ‘Archived’ will be added to the sensor name. Click the right arrow to continue.
You will see a warning stating that ‘this operation cannot be undone once completed’. Click the right arrow to continue.
You will see a message on screen stating that ‘the device has been archived’. Click the right arrow, then click the Checkit icon at the top-centre of the screen to return to the homepage.
The date and time the sensor was archived will appear in the Control Centre next to the MAC address.
