The Data API allows you to extract your Operational Insight data using a token and import them into Power BI Desktop, so you can customise your data metrics.
Power BI Desktop is only available on Windows.
Step 1: Get a Token
Follow the steps below to extract your operational data.
You must be an Administrator or Safety Manager to get a token.
This token will expire after 1 month.

Log in to the Control Centre.

Go to Profile.

In the Operational Insight API Key section, click Generate API Key.

Enter your Control Centre password.

Click Confirm.

Copy the token.

Under Resources, click Download Checkit Power BI Template.
Step 2: Import Data into Power BI
Follow the steps below to import your Checkit data into Power BI Desktop.

Open the Checkit Power BI template (that you downloaded in step 7 above) from your file browser.

Paste the token you copied in step 6 above into the authKey field

Enter the number of weeks you want to load data on in the lastXWeeks field.

Click Load.
