Types of Sensors

We offer a range of sensors to measure temperature, humidity, and door opening and closing.

Sealed Sensors

Sealed sensors measure air temperature.

They have an internal non-replaceable, non-rechargeable battery.

There are two types of sealed sensors, designed for different temperature ranges:

Sensor Temperature

These sensors measure air temperature between -30°C (-22°F) and 60°C (140°F). They are often used in fridges and freezers.

Sensor Temperature

Sensor Temperature 100

These sensors measure air temperature between -30°C (-22°F) and 100°C (212°F). They are often used in buffet/ hot hold units.

Sensor+

Sensor+ sensors consist of 2 parts: the sensor head (probe) and Power Unit Battery (PUB). The two parts are connected by an RJ12 cable.

The PUB supplies power to the sensor head. It can operate in temperatures between 0°C (32°F) and 40°C (104°F) and humidity between 0 and 90% RH.

The PUB contains a non-rechargeable, replaceable battery.

There are 6 types of Sensor+ sensors, designed for different purposes:

Power Unit Battery

Sensor+ Air Temperature

The Sensor+ Air Temperature sensor measures air temperature between -20°C (-4°F) and 60°C (140°F).

Sensor+ Air Temperature & Humidity

The Sensor+ Air Temperature & Humidity sensor measures air temperature between -20°C (-4°F) and 60°C (140°F) and humidity 0 to 100% RH.

Sensor+ Ultra Cold

The Sensor+ Ultra Cold sensor measure air and liquid temperature between -80°C (-112°F) and -20°C (-4°F). It has a blue sleeve.

Sensor+ Hot

The Sensor+ Hot sensor measures air and liquid temperature between 0°C (32°F) and 100°C (212°F). It has a yellow sleeve.

Sensor+ Ultra Hot

The Sensor+ Ultra Hot sensor measures air and liquid temperature between 100°C (212°F) and 260°C (500°F). It has a red sleeve.

Sensor+ Contact

The Sensor+ Contact sensor reports when a door is open or closed. It is often used on fridge doors, freezer doors, and fire doors.
