Disable/Re-Enable a Contact

You can disable a contact if you want to temporarily stop them from receiving alarm and alert notifications.

You can re-enable a contact if you want them to receive automated alarm and alert notifications again.

You must be have the Manage Contacts permission enabled to disable/re-enable a contact. See View/Edit Your User Profile to check which permissions you have enabled.

If you disable a contact, they will not receive alarm and alert notifications from any of the contact lists they are assigned to.

  1. Log in to the CAM+ Website.

  2. Click the contacts icon on the relevant site.

  3. Click Manage Alarm Contacts.

  4. Click Manage Contact Names. You will see a list of all contacts in the site ordered by date created.

Contact will display a:

  • Green thumbs up icon if the contact is currently enabled

  • Red thumbs down icon if the contact is currently disabled

  1. To disable a contact:

    1. Click the thumb icon on the contact.

    2. Click OK.

  2. To re-enable a contact, click the thumb icon on the contact.
