Contacts

Contacts are individuals we notify in the event of an alarm or alert.

In order to receive notifications, a contact must be allocated to either:

  • A contact list: a group of contacts who receive alarm and alert notifications triggered by a sensor group (such as haematology department cold storage sensors, pathology department incubation room sensors, etc.) at designated times (such as during working hours, non-working hours, weekends, public holidays, etc.)

  • Automatic notifications (optional feature): a configuration which allows you to allocate specific contacts to types of alarms, for example, Fatima, John, and Anh may be the only contacts allocated to high temperature alarms

A contact can be allocated to both a contact list and a type of alarm. For example, John may be allocated to both the ‘Working Hours’ contact list and high temperature alarms.

A contact can be allocated to multiple contact lists. For example, Fatima may be allocated to the ‘Non-Working Hours’ contact list and the ‘Weekends’ contact list.
