Transmitter Troubleshooting

Follow the steps below if you receive a transmitter offline alarm.

  1. Locate the transmitter on site.

  2. Ensure that items are not blocking the signal between the transmitter and WARP (or signal repeater, if applicable).

  3. Press and release the membrane button on the transmitter. If you see:

    • A green LED, you have resolved the issue

    • A red LED, continue to step 4.

    • No LED, the battery may be dead (in which case, you will have previously received a battery low alarm). Please replace the battery.

  4. Remove the probe cable from the socket on the bottom of the transmitter, making a note of which socket it was connected to.

  5. Take the transmitter as close as possible to the WARP (or signal repeater, if applicable).

  6. Press the centre membrane button on the transmitter again. If you see:

    • A green LED, you have resolved the issue. Return the transmitter to its original position and securely reattach the probe in its correct socket.

    • A red LED, please contact us.

    • No LED, please contact us.

  7. Complete an incident audit.
