Create a Rule

You can create a rule to ensure that your equipment operates within defined limits.

You must be a Safety Manager to create a rule.

  1. Log in to the Control Centre.

  2. Go to Sensor Management > Monitoring Rules.

  3. Click +Add New Rule.

  4. Enter a name.

Use a descriptive name such as:

  • 0°C to 4°C (30 min alert delay - 24hrs)

  • 63°C to 100°C (30 min alert delay - 08:00-20:00 Mon -Sat)

  • Door Open (15 min alert delay - 24hrs)


  1. Select the type of rule you are creating:

    • Temperature

    • Relative Humidity

    • Contact

  2. Click Add Rule Limit.

  3. Select the frequency:

    • Daily (if the rule will apply every day)

    • Weekly (if the rule will only apply on certain days)

  4. (If applicable) If you selected Weekly, check the boxes on the days you want the rule to apply.

  5. Enter the time when the rule should apply, for example, 00:00-23:59, 08:00-22:00, etc.

  6. If you are creating:

    • A temperature rule, enter:

      • The minimum and maximum temperatures

      • The temperature recovery time

    • A relative humidity rule, enter:

      • The minimum and maximum humidity

      • The humidity recovery time

    • A contact rule:

      • Select if the door should be kept open or closed

      • Enter the recovery time

  7. Click Save.
