Manage Sensor & Service Alerts While Your Hub Is Offline

If your Hub loses Internet connection, any subsequent sensor or service alerts triggered will not be visible in the Control Centre until the Hub reconnects.

However, you can view and acknowledge these alerts via the local Hub UI in the meantime.

  • The Cloud LED on the Hub will appear red if your Hub is not connected to the Internet.

  • The Alert LED on the Hub will flash blue if you have any unacknowledged sensor or service alerts.

See Hub LEDs for more information.

You cannot clear an alert using the local Hub UI.

  1. On you laptop or phone, click on the list of available networks and select the Checkit Hub. It will appear in the following format: CHK2 - HUB - 8000 - XXXX- XXXX- XXXX.

  2. Deselect the Connect Automatically setting.

  3. Click Connect.

  4. In the password field, enter: chkrel2hub

The Hub serial number is located on the bottom of the device in the following format: S/N: 8000 - XXXX- XXXX- XXXX

If a device has triggered an alert, it will display a number icon indicating how many alerts there are. See image 1.

Devices have:

  • A red border if they have any unacknowledged alerts

  • An amber border if all alerts have been acknowledged
