This release introduces IPv6 support. As a result, you may notice Checkit Hub devices appearing on your network monitoring tools with IPv6 addresses. This is expected behavior and does not indicate a malfunction or unauthorized devices. These hubs are part of your existing Checkit hardware, and no action is required.

The Hub automatically updates to the latest version when it reboots overnight.

Improvements

• Improved Network Support

  • Added support for modern IPv6 networks

  • Improved time synchronisation with updated time protocol (NTPv4)

• Hub UI Access Options

  • You can now choose to:

    • Enable access to Hub UI on all network interfaces (e.g. Ethernet & Wi-Fi)

    • Restrict access to the Hub UI to the wireless access point only

    • Disable Hub UI entirely

• Smarter Rules

  • Time-based rules now correctly handle schedules that run across midnight

Bug Fixes

• We have fixed an issue where pressing and holding the reset button on the bottom of the Hub for 30 seconds didn’t reliably restore the default Ethernet/DHCP settings, as expected.
