Replace a Sealed Sensor

You will need to replace a sealed sensor if it has low battery or has been lost or damaged.

You must be an Administrator to replace a sensor. See User Roles for more details.

Please refer to your company’s standard operating policy and take appropriate precautions.

You need a magnetic tag (see image below) to replace a sensor. The magnet tag could interfere with heart pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).

If you are replacing a Sensor Temperature 100 (a sensor used to monitor buffet hot holds) ensure that it is securely attached to the appropriate surface.
