Probe Models

The Checkit App supports the following probe models produced by Checkit and ETI:

Checkit Probe

The Checkit Probe® is designed for insertion into items such as food and water.

The ETI Thermapen® is designed for insertion into items such as food and water.

ETI RayTemp® Infrared

The ETI RayTemp ®Infrared probe is designed to measure the surface temperature of items such as packaged goods, food, and water without direct contact.

ETI TempTest 2

The ETI TemptTest2® probe supports a variety of detachable probe heads, each designed for specific applications, such as measuring surface temperatures, between-package temperatures, and more.

  • Checkit probes are enabled by default on the Checkit App.

  • ETI probes must be enabled on each Android device running the Checkit App before first use. Once enabled, all supported ETI probe models will work on that device. See Enable/Disable Checkit/ETI Probes for instructions.

Both Checkit and ETI probes can be enabled on a device at the same time.
