Cleared Alarm Notifications (Optional Feature)

When an alarm or alert is triggered, notifications are sent to the relevant contacts (by phone, SMS, and/or email, depending on your configuration).

However, with Cleared Alarms, an additional notification is sent when the alarm condition has ended, for example, when a sensor that was previously out of range returns to its normal range, or a device that was offline comes back online. This lets you know that the issue has been resolved and the system is operating normally again.

If the initial alarm was triggered by a sensor, for example, a high temperature alarm or a transmitter offline alarm, you will still be required to complete an incident audit for that alarm.
