SenseFlex Range: Edit Sensor Reading & Transfer Frequency

Sensors take readings and send them to the cloud at set intervals.

For example, a temperature sensor may be configured to take readings every minute and send these readings to the cloud every 5 minutes.

You can view and edit these settings if necessary.

You must be an Administrator to view/edit sensor reading & transfer frequency.

1. Log in to the Control Centre. 

2. Go to Automated Monitoring Devices >Maintenance.

3. Select the location to which the sensor is assigned.

4. Click the 3 vertical dots on the sensor you want to edit.

5. Click Properties.

6. Edit the following fields as applicable:

   • Reporting Frequency (how often the sensor takes a reading)

   • Heartbeat (how often the sensor sends readings to the cloud)

7. Click Update Device Details.
