SenseFlex Range: Replace a Sensor

Follow these instructions if a sensor is lost or a tile sensor has low battery.

You can replace the batteries in a PT1000 Sensor if it is low.

1. Log in to the Control Centre. 

2. Go to Automated Monitoring Devices >Maintenance.

3. Select the location to which the sensor is assigned.

4. Click the 3 vertical dots on the old sensor.

5. Click Swap Device, then click the right arrow to continue.

6. (If applicable) If you are replacing a Temperature Tile Sensor, touch the old sensor to activate it.

7. Click the right arrow to continue.

8. Check the information on screen to confirm that you are replacing the correct device, then click the right arrow to continue.

9. Scan the QR code on the new sensor.

10. (If applicable) If you are replacing a Temperature Tile Sensor, touch the new sensor to activate it, then click the right arrow to continue.

11. Check that the sensor information on the screen is correct, then click the right arrow to continue.

12. (If applicable) If you are replacing a Temperature Tile Sensor, touch the new sensor to activate it. You will see the signal strength on screen, then click the right arrow to continue.

If the signal is poor or marginal, move the sensor closer to the Cloud Connector/ ensure the signal is not obstructed by items.

13. Remove the old sensor by carefully pulling it from the surface to which it is attached.

14. Ensure that the surface is clean and dry.

15. Fix the new sensor in place using the adhesive strip on the back of the device.
