SenseFlex Range: Step 1 - Prepare the Network (Ethernet Connection Only)

If you intend to connect the Cloud Connector to the internet via Ethernet, ask your IT department to complete the following steps before proceeding with the installation.

If you intend to connect to the internet using a cellular connection only, skip to Step 2: Map Your Site.

1. Ensure that DHCP is enabled on the network/router.

2. Ensure that the following ports are open:

   • ccon-manager.prod.disruptive-technologies.com (TCP 443)

   • est.prod.disruptive-technologies.com (TCP 443)

   • mender.prod.disruptive-technologies.com (TCP 443)

   • mender-artifacts.prod.disruptive-technologies.com (TCP 443)

The DHCP server on the local network is used for DNS and NTP. If no NTP server is advertised on the local network, then time{1,2,3,4}.google.com (UDP 123) is used.

3. (If applicable) If you restrict network access to specific devices, whitelist the Cloud Connector using the MAC address printed on the back of the device.
