Checkit sensors are calibrated to remain within their specified accuracy for their supported service life. The supported service life takes into account factors including battery performance, device reliability, and measurement accuracy and stability.
At the end of its supported service life, the sensor is replaced.

Ongoing sensor support
Throughout the duration of a sensor’s service life, Checkit will:

Monitor the age of your installed sensors and contact you when they are approaching the end of their supported service life to arrange their planned replacement.

Review sensor performance and battery-life data to ensure sensors continue to perform as expected.

Replace individual sensors that fail before they are due for replacement.

Contact you and arrange an earlier replacement if our ongoing monitoring indicates that a sensor needs to be replaced sooner than planned.
If your organisation chooses to recalibrate sensors more frequently
Your organisation may choose to have sensors recalibrated earlier or more frequently to meet its own requirements.
If your organisation follows its own recalibration cycle, you can use the date the sensor was installed (displayed in the Control Centre) together with your organisation’s recalibration cycle to determine when replacement is due.
