Sensor LEDs

Sensors have 2 LEDs that indicate their status: Health LED and Mode LED. See images 1 & 2.

These LEDs do not appear on the sensors unless you press a magnetic tag (see image 3) on the bottom left-corner of the device for 3 seconds.

The Checkit tag is a magnet which could interfere with heart pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).

Mode LED

Flashing green → flashing amber

Magnetic tag detected.

Remove the magnetic tag and see the Health LED for more information about the sensor’s status.

Flashing green → flashing amber → solid red

Device decommissioned

No LED

If the Mode LED does not illuminate after you press the magnetic tag:

the battery may be dead (in which case, you would have previously received a low battery alert)
the device may have been damaged

If it is:

a sealed sensor, contact us for a replacement (see Replace a Sealed Sensorfor instructions on how to swap the sensor)
a Sensor+ device, replace the battery then tag the device again with a magnetic tag. If you still see no LEDs, contact us for a replacement.

	Health LED
Green	Good signal strength
Amber	Moderate signal strength
Amber flashing	The sensor is not registered on your account. See Install a Sensor
Red	Poor signal Remove items that may be blocking signal to the Hub. If a sensor, Hub, or Repeater has been moved, return it to its original location.
1/2 red flashes	Low/critically low battery If it is: a sealed sensor, contact us for a replacement (see Replace a Sealed Sensor for instructions on how to swap the sensor) a Sensor+ device, replace the battery.
No LED	If the Mode LED does not illuminate after you press the magnetic tag: the battery may be dead (in which case, you would have previously received a low battery alert) the device may have been damaged If it is: a sealed sensor, contact us for a replacement (see Replace a Sealed Sensorfor instructions on how to swap the sensor) a Sensor+ device, replace the battery then tag the device again with a magnetic tag. If you still see no LEDs, contact us for a replacement.
