How to Configure Each Type of Check

See below for instructions on how to configure each type of check.

Temperature Check

  1. Enter a name for the check.

  2. In the Type field, select Temperature Check.

  3. (Optional) Add some instructions for staff in the Description field, for example, “Insert probe into centre of food” 

  4. If you:

If the check will be completed using an ETI Infared Probe, you must select any colour.

  1. Enter an acceptable temperature range, for example, 0°C - 5°C. 

  2. Select whether you want a check alert to be triggered if the temperature is out of range.

  3. (Optional) If you want a follow-up check to be triggered if the temperature is out of range, click Add follow-up and configure the check.

  4. Click Save

Acknowledgement

  1. Enter a name for the check.

  2. In the Type field, select Acknowledgement.

  3. (Optional) Add some instructions for staff in the Description field.

  4. Select whether you want a check alert to be triggered if this check is completed.

  5. (Optional) If you want this check to trigger a follow-up check, click Add follow-up and configure the check.

  6. Click Save

Text/ Numeric Input

  1. Enter a name for the check.

  2. In the Type field, select Text/Numeric Input.

  3. Select a Validation type:

    • Text Validation

    • Numeric Validation

    • Sequenced Numeric Validation

  1. (Optional) Add some instructions for staff in the Description field.

  2. (If applicable) If you selected Sequenced Numeric Validation:

    1. Enter the minimum number staff can input.

    2. Enter the step (multiples of which staff can input).

    3. Enter the maximum number staff can input.

  3. Select whether you want a check alert to be triggered if this check is completed.

  4. (Optional) If you want this check to trigger a follow-up check, click Add follow-up and configure the check.

  5. Click Save.

Date Entry

  1. Enter a name for the check.

  2. In the Type field, select Acknowledgement.

  3. (Optional) Add some instructions for staff in the Description field. 

  4. Select an option in the Critical range field:

    • Today

    • Tomorrow

    • Yesterday

    • All past days

    • All future days

    • Custom

  1. Select whether you want a check alert to be triggered if staff select a date within the critical range.

  2. (Optional) If you want a follow-up check to be triggered if staff select a date within the critical range, click Add follow-up and configure the check.

  3. Click Save

Options List

  1. Enter a name for the check.

  2. In the Type field, select Options List.

  3. (Optional) Add some instructions for staff in the Description field, for example, “Select an option”

  4. Click Add Option and enter text as applicable.

  1. (Optional) If you want a check alert to be triggered if staff select a certain option, click the Alert if selected box.

  2. (Optional) If you want a follow-up check to be triggered if staff select a certain option, click Add follow-up and configure the check.

  3. Click Save
